I have owned this car for 20 years. I ran a full house flat head 6 for the first 12 years and a V8 for the past 8 years.

front disc brakes, Hollywood spring rear leaves, cut coils up front. Grey cloth
seals in old style tuck and roll.
The black paint was done in 1972 and the flames with the help of friends Ron Miller (painter) and Mike Bishop (American Rodder, Rod & Custom, etc. writer) for it's first rod run at the Goodguys very first West Coast nationals.
71 Maverick
This is an all original
(except wheels) '71 Maverick Grabber. Color is called Grabber Blue. It was
beautifully maintained and is as clean under the car and hood as the outside.
Powered is a 250 cu. in 6. it is fully loaded and is a great driver. Stockton
wheels made up the 15x7 Magnum 500 wheels. Stock were 14x6 painted wheels.
About me, I'm a 1951 model
and am the west coast announcer for Goodguys Rod & Custom Assoc. part time and
manage trade shows for the commercial truck divisions of GM and Isuzu corp.
I have been a motorsports writer and announcer for 30 years and spent 20yrs.
with LA county Raceway (NHRAmember Track) in Palmdale California.
