I
purchased an original '32
Ford body in 1969 and built
my first street rod. The car
was finished in 1973 and
I drove the car for almost
100,000 miles which
included three cross-
country trips to the
Western Nationals. In 1999
I decided to redo the car
and the newer pictures
reflect the car as I
finished it last summer.
It is now all steel, with all
new parts. It has a ZZ-3
Engine with tuned port
fuel injection. A 700-R
trans. and a Ford posi
9-inch puts the power to the
road. it is chopped, has air
conditioning, and finished
with a new blue/green
basecoat/clearcoat. I already have 3500 miles
on it and hope to get quite
a few more.
The Corvair is a purchase I made last year and has bored 400 small block with
a Toronado front-wheel drive unit and is a blast to drive. It is a
great head turner.
