P.I.S.R.A. FAMILY AFFAIR DIES !

On a sadder note, the rumor that the PISRA Family Affair's demise was imminent was confirmed to us today by one of the clubs representative's.  The reasons stated where, quote:

" There just isn't enough of us to put it on anymore. A lot of our members are getting older and they can't handle the pace of putting on a weekend event anymore. Also with the high cost of everything these days, no club can afford to take the risk of having a no show or a rain out. The club had a choice of down sizing to a one day event or just having a club weekend for members and their families. The majority vote went to just having a club event."

We would like to take this opportunity to thank PISRA for the great times in past Family Affair events that we all
enjoyed so much, but we guess that the party had to end sometime.  It is unfortunate that the club has not realized
new, younger members joining to bridge the gap and take up the torch.  We wish PISRA members all the best in their
future endeavors as we say goodbye to
FAMILY AFFAIR and the good times it represented...  It will be missed.
