POWER TRAIN: A TH 400 tranny coupled to a Ford 9" with 4:11s
MODIFICATIONS: The hood has been decked about 3 1/2", the radiator cover, inner fender wells and shroud are all hand formed metal. Rear wheel wells have been opened up 1 1/2 " and the front and rear roll pans hand formed. The 'B' pillars have been slanted forward 2" and out back the car has been smoothed and includes a swing down license plate and LED taillights molded into the body. TIME TO BUILD: 4 Years. Ray says that all though he did not have the knowledge or experience to do a lot of the work he certainly put a lot of sweat equity into this project and was there almost everyday doing something. Like most rodders, there are very few of us that can do it all, and we feel Ray has paid his dues and can proudly say I did it my way.......... the right way.
