trade anything to do with Hotrods, Classics Cars or any type of Automotive
products in this section. To place Commercial
Ads on this site, we accept
Pay Pal
for payment below, and you can use any of the reflected credit
cards below through Pay Pal.
Commercial ads are $10.00
for each ad for 90 days.
You may place as
many ads as you wish, keeping text to 100 words or less, and you can
leave a link to your website. If you have never used
Pay Pal, it could not be simpler, sign
up once and
that's it, very easy. Simply determine how many ads you wish
to place
and
proceed to the Pay Pal button to make payment On completion of payment, you can
then place your classifieds, thank you.
Placing
an Ad:
There are two ad structures,
Wanted
to Buy
and
Wanted to Sell
in several categories, just
pick the one that is applicable
to you. Some
viewers
have placed ads and have forgotten to leave their email addresses. If you have forgotten to enter your
email
address, or
at least left a phone number for viewers to contact you, the
ad will
be removed, it is just taking
up space. Please do not place your email address in the detail
section of the ad, just enter it the one time where you are requested to
and it will be
embedded in
your ad automatically. Take advantage of the preview feature before posting your
ad and there is
a spell
checker available as well. Remember, viewers do not
necessarily want to pay long distance charges to discuss your
ad
with you by
phone ... Email is Free!
If you are willing to take collect
calls, say so.
It is a good practice to let potential
buyers know what part of the country you are from and where they would have to
go to buy your cool stuff, so be sure to
mention it in your ad(s).
Images:
They say a picture is worth a
thousand words and we believe this to be true.
To place an image with your ad, the
image
must be 'parked' on a server computer somewhere on the internet and you
would be required to place a URL address to
your image as reflected in the form
when you fill out your ad. You CANNOT
upload
an image directly into the ad structure
If you are unsure how to
do this, you will need help from a friend or someone who
knows how to do
this. If you place a non
existent address in this field you will just get
an error message. You can 'park' all
sorts of images on the internet for
free
and your friends and relatives can visit you image pages.
You can also
link ads such
as these to your images. Bravenet
provides such a free
service and you can join Bravenet at this link.
Join
Bravenet
Placing a picture of your ride with
Bravenet will allow a thumbnail size
photo within the body of your ad and it will be linked
to a full size picture and its a free
service. Can't beat that.
Image
Help:
If you cannot find anyone to help you link a picture to your ad for
you, and you still wish to include a photo with your ad,
we will park your picture on our servers for you and link it to your free ad.
The fee for this service is $10.00 US and secure payment may be made with credit
card such as Visa and MasterCard through Pay Pal above.
Send
us
the picture you wish to use in your ad along with the text
for your ad and when we have receive notification of payment from
Pay Pal in your name, we will process your ad. We do not repair
bad photos, so make sure you send a decent one in Jpeg format (best).
Modifying
or Editing Your Ad:
You can modify and edit your ad at anytime using the password that you entered
when you placed your ad. You do remember it, right ?
Deleted
Ads:
If you find your ad has expired and been deleted, simply place another ad with the same content and ensure that you
leave
a way for our viewers
to contact you. Place as many
personal ads you need or require. You may also come back anytime
and replace expired ads if you have not
sold or purchased your dream ride by then.
